Aleksei has been a famous American actress, model, and dramatic performer from New York. TV stars are celebrating their birthdays on the 14th of August. 14. Her birthplace was in St. Louis but soon was moved in New York City just a day old. In 1991, she graduated from Barnard College with a degree in art history. That very same year she was hired as an entry-level employee at a restaurant called An American Place for one year. Guarnaschelli started her cooking career prior to that, as she was watching her mom test recipes when she was editing her books at the house. The first time she was exposed to cooking, she watched her mother test recipes at home as she edited cookbooks. Guarnaschelli eventually became the head chef at Butter. Guarnaschelli was a contestant in 2007's Farmers Market Battle on Food Network's Iron Chef America, where she was up against Cat Cora. The following year, she was a contestant in the third place of the season up in The Next Iron Chef, and has been a judge for the show ever since. She was a contestant and won in an episode of the Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. In the fourth season of The Next Iron Chef, she started working as a sous chef for Iron chef Geoffrey Zakarian. In 2008, she became the host of Food Network's The Cooking Loft with Alex Guarnaschelli in which she instructs a small group of students in the art of teaching them to reimagine classic recipes.
